A couple of years ago, I began toying with the idea of bringing a true crime/paranormal/oddity festival with a vintage carnival vibe to Mid-Michigan. The event would be both family friendly and wildly inappropriate. Spooky and silly. Serious and fun. Something for the weirdo in all of us. And in 2019, we managed to pull it off with tremendous success. Thousands upon thousands of people turned out for the first annual Festival of Oddities in Lansing. It was a unique, affordable, family friendly experience that raised money for charity, found homes for rescue kitties, supported local artists, and allowed everyone to be themselves in a welcoming, come-as-you-are environment.

In 2020, we plan to make the festival bigger and better. We’re moving to a larger space, which will allow us to expand in every way- more vendors, more room for guests inside the venue, more audience space for performances.
